I awoke this morning to a table set with a few things for our son that my wife had put out. I didn't notice the two chocolate bass hanging from a ribbon on the fridge. The ribbon said, 'Follow Me', so I opened the fridge to find a 6 pack of Southern Pecan in there layed out on a red towel. My wife's great.

My little guy woke up today and asked if it was Valentine's Day. I told him, yes it is (they have a party at school today, so I think they had been talking about it). On the way to school, he was kind of quiet and I asked him what was wrong. He said, "Mommy, I didn't get you a Valentine's Day present. I wanted to get you some flowers but I don't know how." My heart just melted. (Last year, my dad was in town for Valentine's Day and he took my son to the store and my son was able to pick out some flowers and a card for me).

I told him he did not have to get me anything and that he could just draw me a picture of flowers at school. My sweet, sweet little man!

Ah, Virgo, that is so sweet. Tell him to be happy about his party. My kids were not happy that OG was not having any party. They've gone all nutritional nuts now and sweets are a big no-no. :( Poor kids, they are taking the fun out of everything.

I told Butterball to hold the thoughts of Valentine's Day till I got home. I'm always in too much of a rush in the mornings to enjoy anything. :) He'll have to wait too.
