I've got the dvd. I'll let you borrow it at some point.
It was good. It was interesting
Clapton traveled around and recorded sessions at some of Johnson's old historic haunts.
He also explained some of Johnson's techniques - like a 12 bar line with an eight bar superimposed and a six bar vocal on top of all that - all without multitrack mastering and dubbing.
Sometimes he would extend the 12 bar to 13 or 14 bars - or shorten it to 11.
Wow!!
I never understood what Johnson was doing before Clapton explained it.
It all went over my head - real quick but I kinda got the general idea!! ;)

Robert Johnson was 2 things.... 1)a genius, 2) very evil.... how else can you explain why he did that to all the people that would cover his music. That's a pain in the butt to have to decipher.
