I'm around 6'4 and 260. My belly pokes out and my ankles are in no way sexy. Judging by the average retail outlet, people with more than a 32" inseam are abnormal and unworthy of a decent pair of pants.

Where can a fella with a 36-38" inseam get himself some jeans that aren't flood ready?

You want a local store or internet store?

There is a store in downtown Hburg for big and tall. I've never been in there though so have no idea what they have.

It's Go Young Fashions. Most of their shirt selection is, 'URBAN', at best. However, the pants are okay, but a bit pricey, to me. The service is outstanding, and when I can't wait on the internet, I'll buy from them.

But, I'm on the BIG end and not the TALL end.

JC Penney's has a Big and Tall section too. They have some very decent stuff.

Dillard's also has some Big and Tall clothes. One of my friends shops there when He is in town. Nice Polo and button down shirts and nice selection of pants too.

I tried Kohl's last week. I guess I didn't spot the B&T section.

I gotta get some new clothes. I've run these into the ground.

Maybe I'm just simple (Maybe, probably, whatever) but I didn't even think about shopping for pants online. Stupid me.

Looks like I'm going to the...ugh...mall today. Maybe Go Young will have something I can afford.

Thanks, folks. I don't even remember seeing B&T sections at the mall's department stores.

There's one store, big and tall direct or big and tall guys or something like that that has free hemming of your pants. And the prices on them are really inexpensive.

My first choice would be to try Ebay. I often come away from there with New With Tags clothing for 1/2 of what it costs in the cheapest online store.

My husband, who has no ass, can wear regular pants but wears big/tall shirts, so I'm experienced in hunting for those. JC Penney carries some big and tall stuff. You used to have to order it online, but today I was in there and noticed they have some out in the store. I usually go to Jackson to Casual Male XL. It's on County Line Road, and while it's not exactly cheap, it's not insane either. I spend about $300 one time a year there and that gets my husband lots of shirts. I've never shopped for B/T pants.

I am 6'6...Pants 40 36. Most places don't carry 36 inseam.
Penny's has a big and tall. I have asked them why they dont take the tall off the sign.... 34 is usually the max.
Gap once acted like I was a freak.... will NEVER wear antyhting from Gap.

Belks and Dillards now and then have something, not very often...

A 50 - 32 is easy to find but anything over 34 is almost impossible..

Are you reading retailers? It sucks to order on-line then they not fit the way you want!

You saying your hubby is a one pocket? Thats what my spousal type person says about me... My butt isn't big enough for two pockets on the back so I am a one pocket...
So we are different... Is that any reason to make fun of us???
It hurts lady!!!
Knowing your butt can fit in the palm of your spousal type persons hand...
Are you happy knowing our derrière is lacking??? Must you make jokes like that????
Just joking!!!:bowrofl: Trying to get the post count up and say something relevant... But if I ever hear you calling you husband one pocket!!!:ohnoes: Well it could be bad!!!:smt023

They cater to the average big or tall guy. Most don't carry pants over 50. Walmart carries 50's every now and then.

You know they say we marry someone who has qualities we lack? Let's just say I'm a 4 pocketer, so it evens out. I like his little buns and he likes my...um...substantial ones, so it works for us. :-D

I told the lady at Belk's something similar.

Seems as though "big & tall" is actually just big & fat. Tall people need not apply.

Before my gut started expanding, I could find a couple pairs of 34/36 Levis relatively easily. But now that I've puffed up a little, it seems like these people have never even considered the idea of someone having both a waist and inseam over 32 or 34 inches.

Damn shame. No luck anywhere. Nowhere I went to at the mall or Go Young had anything for me.

Damn shame.

I thought there was a place in Laurel but I couldn't remember for sure since I don't shop there.

This reminds me of the nightmare days of shopping for pants for the Xboy. He had a 36" inseam and a 32 waist. Ughhh. He used to be able to find jeans at Eddie Bauer fairly frequently. Anywhere else and he left pissed off.

Yep yep yep. I buy all my clothes at Dillard's Short and Fat section. Don't make the mistake of buying sox there though, unless you have big feet.:kekeke:

I used to wear 32/36. Used to find those all day at Sears.

Even 36/36s were relatively easy to come by.

I guess what they're trying to tell me is "Take your husky ass back to the gym, fat boy!"
