I donno. I just kinda got home, and someone's paying to watch 'The Brave One', so I'm watching it with them...

I haven't had a chance to see how fast the storm is moving, but it looks like we'll be in the brunt between 5-7am.

Sirens woke me up.

My Golden Retriever woke me up...then came the Camp Shelby sirens...It is storming hard out here in Dixie....WDAM is showing the infomercial about the bullet...so I got on the puter to check the weather....

It's stopped for now, but it was sounding pretty fierce there for a bit.

Looks like lightning hit a house in my subdivision. I heard a tremendous bang about an hour ago but didn't realize something had been hit until I saw the firetrucks, ambulance and news truck just now when I walked the dog. Talk about a wake-up call. I hope everyone is alright.

I promise you, onlyme, anytime you hear a loud bang in a lightening storm, something nearby has been hit. What's really bad is when something gets hit and you DON'T hear it. IT'S YOU:kekeke:

Wow, I missed my chance to get all anxious and everything. Did wake up to thunder about five or so, but never heard any sirens. Maybe I should worry about THAT!
Anyway, it looks like another thin line of storms heading for us, and then good weather for a few days. Yay!

I slept through it. At 5:30 the cat woke me up and demanded to be let outside. I noticed a few flashes of lightning, but nothing major, and I was back asleep in five minutes.

I'm always grateful for the chance to sleep through scary weather. I used to not be able to fall asleep when it was supposed to get bad, then I realized that a mouse fart would wake my husband up, so there's someone to wake me up if I need to get up.

At the same time, I wonder what good being awake would do anyway.
