This woman found this lion hurt and about to die. She took him home and took care of him. When the lion was better she called the local zoo. This was the reaction she got when the lion saw her.

I am not sure if that woman is incredibly brave or just insane :ohnoes:Probably raised it from a kitten... At 7 J's Bird Ranch their Cougars were hand raised as kittens. Very powerful but as long as they worked with them daily they were tame. Mr. Jones said if you don't interact and work with them often they will go wild again. And never ever fool with them alone... That cat could have bit her head off easily looks like to me...

DTS,

I wonder what has happened to most of those animals. I held a baby cougar there.

I'm telling you...come visit Cob. She'll give you hugs like that. We were curled up in the chair last night gettin' our snuggle on. :smt050

Last I talked to Mr. Charles he was scaling things back and selling or giving the animals to other places that he knew would take care of them... I bet the cougar you are talking about is Tiara. She was one huge kitten. I would come up and take her (with his permission of course) out of the cage put her on a lease and then we would bound around much like Tigger of Winnie the Pooh's Tigger. I was dragged all over the place... when the chain went slack she was pouncing on me... Other than being a little rougher she was no different than a common kitty cat. I cut trees there off the back of his property for several weeks. When he had a school field trip show up he would have me take her out of the inner cage and let the kids pet her through the outter fence.
Now that I am much older it kind of scares me now that I think about it...

oh nahla is the same way. she doesn't leave my side. if i sit, she sits on me or lays on me. if i lie down, she is either on me or at least touching some part of me. she kisses and licks. constantly.

she just isn't big and fluffy like that lion. she is little and skinny and shaved. but i love her. and i love to love on her. so i'll stop wanting the lion. :smt086

Cob knows not to lick. I hate the licking. :smt086

Just she gives hugs just like that lion does. Paws around my neck, snout on top of my head. :smt050

I love that puppy.
