Michael Jackson tribute band at the Bottling Co on March 6th. Has anyone seen this before? I like the old Michael Jackson stuff... the pre weirdy-werido stuff. If I'm off work, I'm sooo there. Kind of excited!

I'm afraid you might be presented with the post-weirdy-weirdo stuff!
No matter what, I'm sure it'll be entertaining.
Hope it turns out good for you. :smt023

I wonder if the Michael Jackson Tribute Band has chopped their noses off, like the real Michael Jackson.
Oh, forgive me. Michael says he has not had a nose job.

One of my Bonnie Blues saw a band like this at Mugshots several months ago and said they were great. I don't know if it's the same one.

I do like the song "Man in the Mirror" it has a wonderful message. If you've never listened to the words I tell ya it really inspired me! Of course given the messenger??

Willie. Gotta free Willie. Get him outta that water tank. Before he drowns. Wait a minute. Water is his habitat.

I wonder if they sing that song about a rat named Ben.

That rat's nose is about the size of Michael Jackson's nose.
Actually, the rat's nose might be bigger. :kekeke:

The show last night was just plain fun. I must say, the MJ impersonator, Jo'Bel was just okay... but the band, damn. They were 100% energy and fun to watch. The guitar player was just flat out great. I really wasn't expecting to see a pair of parachute pants, but the bass player had them on. That was cool. I remember those.
They had this little air blower setup and the MJ guy kept standing in front of it to get that airblow shirt look like in the Black and White video. Knife fight in Beat it was unexpected... (yes, I know it's in the video above, but I didn't watch the videos until today).
I've only been to the Bottling Co twice with live music. Once, the band sucked, it was just loud and annoying and the only person on the floor was a 40ish drunk lady who wanted to dance and be with the band... This time, less people inside, but almost everyone there was in the dance floor area and right up on the stage.
It was fun, and if they come back sometime, you should catch the show...
