In order to discourage spam and threads intended to start arguments, we require members to have at least 20 posts before they can start a thread in most forums.

I think you have to make a certain number of posts before you can start a thread SE....like 10 or so if I remember right.

This gives them a chance to get involved in the community, as well as, become accustomed to where new threads should go and what the forum rules are. You can easily gain the required number of posts in the forum games section (http://www.myhattiesburg.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=57) and by posting an introduction in the Introduce Yourself forum (http://www.myhattiesburg.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=48), which is the only one a new member can post a new thread in.

If you play forum games it will bump your post number up rather quickly. Yes, the "lady" does have a story. We are celebrating Women's History Month. :bowrofl: And one of our members, Fish-Bait, is being a little "demanding" about putting up sexy avatars in the spirit of the celebration. So, we complied.
