What a weird name for an alert.
According to the Weather Channel link at the bottom of MH's main page we are under a FIRE WEATHER ADVISORY UNTIL TUE MAR 25 2008 04:00 PM CDT.
But I've never heard of Fire Weather.

There's still lots of stuff on the ground from Katrina. I know that there's about 2 acres right next to my house and land that's basically a tenderbox with all the stuff on the ground from Katrina that hasn't been cleaned up.

Believe it or not, we still have a 'rain-decficit' for the year....or at least we did the last time I watched the 10 o'clock news a few nights ago.
