So, I was listening to these two girls discuss Que-Delta weekend...
One of them was saying how it was crazy and these guys they were with were threatening to shoot up in the air because the cops were at the club. WTF??? She said, "If you asked me, the cops were just making things worse."
I had to laugh at that one....

Sounds like a couple guys that need to be skimmed off the bottom of the gene pool for good.
Shooting up in the air while the cops are around sounds like a good way to win that Darwin Award. I hope they do, and get what they deserve.
The more idiots who commit "suicide by stupidity" the better.

Right, Computer Dude. When people talk about shooting in the air, I always remember a beautiful young tourist in New Orleans who died when some fool shot into the air, and the bullet came down on her head. Where do these idiots think the bullets GO??

Where do these idiots think the bullets GO??Speaking of that, I read an article just the other day where Paul Prudhomme (sp?) was hit by a falling bullet while cooking for some event in NO. It only punctured the sleeve of the garment he was wearing and made a scratch on his arm, but he kept right on cooking.
I'm too lazy to look for the article again to give a link.

For your mental health, you need to quit eating in Seymour's ... there's a hamburger joint across the street from campus. Maybe you know about it?

To deny these guys their God given rights to shoot into the air (Freedom of Expression) is wrong.:bowrofl: Freedom of Expression IS in the constitution isn't it?:smt102

The presence of cops adds an altogether different dynamic to the idea of blazing away with a firearm in a public place; If they antagonize police officers in such a way (As was apparently their stated intention), and refuse to obey their commands, then it will very likely become a moot point in favor of the policemen.
Good, as far as I'm concerned; stupidity should hurt.

I was over here Sat. night & there were a lot of cops present, but there were a lot of drunk folks wandering around too. I didn't see the cops arresting or hasseling anyone. They just seemed to be showing a presence to keep things calm. I think they did a commendable job & I certainly didn't see them interferring with anyone having a good time.
