Ya know, I saw this on the Today Show last week. At first, I thought it was silly too... UNTIL, they had some black lady on there... she did have a good point. I don't remember the stats, but Vogue has had VERY few blacks on their cover.... and the one that they finally choose to put on there- it does look like King Kong when the pictures are compared. I personally don't see it as being racist, but I'm also not a member of the black community. Lebron said that he didn't have a problem at all with it, so to men it's no big deal. But I almost can see how it might be to others...

Well, there is definitely a similarity in the two photos, and I can almost see why some people would read too deeply into it. But on the surface, there is really nothing wrong with the photo. Just my opinion!

It's interesting how different people's minds work differently.
I would never in a million years have made a connection between this photo and King Kong.
