Adventure travel

I'm trying to talk some of my co-workers into an adventure race next year. The race is the "Ruta del Sol", a road race from Quito Ecuador to Rio de Janeiro Brazil, driving a used VW bug.

The race is one of many put on by a group called the Adventurist
who started the whole thing with the Mongol Rally, a road race from London to Mongolia.

So, anyone up for an adventure?
