Hey, is anyone going to the Benefit Pow Wow at the Payne Center (cause of weather) this weekend?

They have some really cool demonstrations and booths and such all weekend. They will have all kinds of music and dancing and demonstrations and a drum circle...Tonight at 7 will be the grand entry.

Dont know anything about this. I probably wont be going. I need to clean the house, wash clothes and towels and have a dentist appointment for 9:30 in the morning.

I love the pow-wows...especially since I have so many Indian ancestors...havn't been to the ones at USM yet but I did like the ones on the coast before Katrina. I especially like looking at the native clothing/costumes! Beautiful bead work on some of them. :smt023
