Yeah, but your lil 2 wheel drive might have problems with that kind of riding.

Then again, I have seen a 2 wheel drive rancher go through some tough stuff before.

Hey Hendrix, the Honda in the first little bit of this video is exactly what mine looks like that I offered to sale you. Except he has outlaw tires on that one and mine are mud-lites.

Once you go riding like this, your hooked. And you will give the wife that 2 wheel drive and go buy you a bigger 4x4 I assure you. This is why I have 2 4 wheelers right now.

Holy cow that is awesome!!! I wouldn't make it through though. I would need more mud, less water.

That is what I AM TALKING ABOUT right there!!! Get some mud! You're right, I am going to have to get a 4x4 now!

actually, 2 wheel drives work better the more water there is.

My buddy Chris, he had a rancher 2 wheel drive and he took it through the pond at Red Creek. At one point that thing is about 5 feet deep. The tires float and just paddle along. The only thing the front tires on a 4x4 are used for is turning when in the water.

In the mud however, you need all 4 tires to pull through.

I can recommend some decent upgrades for your bike when you are ready.

I've only been mud riding once....it was years ago. but this guy had a big jeep with those big tires on them and about 4 of us went out one night...somewhere in Perry County...It was so fun and scary at the same time...we got to a point where water was just about up to the doors and I remember thinking oh sh!t we're fixing to get stuck but he gunned it and mud went everywhere. I got home looking like I just got through wrestling a pig...but it was one of the most fun times I've ever had!!

4 wheelers are better than vehicles.

but my uncle does have a 89 ford bronco 2 that should I ever get some money i am going to fix up and make it to a mud machine.

I prefer Jeeps but ATV's are fun also. I have a 15 year old that has a highly modified 89 BII.

I've been to Red Creek a few times, but it isn't for me. Known some people who got into trouble down there. Had one 4 wheeler go upside down.......water and mud went through the exhaust and filled the motor. I just ain't crazy about mud. I'll go around it any chance I get and at Red Creek, that's mostly all there is. But the problem is that big trucks can go through the same holes and dig out big deep ruts. You go in the same hole in a 4 wheeler and you don't see the ruts, just the mud. Then one side falls off in one of those ruts and you roll sideways in the mud. Last time I went into a lot of mud, I spent a couple of hours trying to clean it all out and swore I would never do it again. I would rather ride all day on a trail in hilly terrain or up in the mountains. But we don't have any good places like that.

I have been fortunate enough not to flip over in the mud yet.

My buddy Brandon, not so much. His Rancher has turned over about 5 times. Takes about 5-6 oil changes to clear all of the mud out. WE have gotten proficient at it.

I like to just ride trails as well, but not many places to do that around her, and I don't get enough time to get far off to do that.

I would love to hit the Piute Trails in Utah one day.

I used to go mud riding with some friends out in Rawl's Springs. We rode dune buggies(no 4 wheelers) & the lead person drove a 4 wheel drive truck with a wench on it in case somebody got stuck. This was about 1980--a LONG time ago--but a really good memory! Had a blast every time that I went!:-D

I have sort of been planning a trip to Paiute for this fall. But not sure how gas prices will affect me being able to make that trip. I may have to postpone it for a year. Camp Claiborne and Sandstone in Louisiana is some good trails and about 4 1/2 hours away. Also, one of my most favorite places to go is Coal Creek up in Tennessee and that's riding trails up in the mountains. Takes about 8 or 9 hours to get there.

I was born in 80!!I was born in 64, which is why I don't care for mud anymore or doing anything too dangerous. I think my bones are getting brittle.

I want a little mud, like a thin coat of it, not so deep I have to dig mud out of my ears. I like riding though, I just bought my first four wheeler this weekend and I already am in love with it!

Only want to dig it out of your ears? Man, when I go, it has to be dug out of your ears, pulled out of your hair, scrubbed out of your ass.

If there is an orafice, mud is there.
