We are in serious talks about installing a swimming pool in our backyard, having gone so far as to measure the space, try to decide what shape and how to surround it, decks, walkways, landscaping, etc. The only problem we are having is what kind of pool?
Above ground seems to be the economical route, but I am not fond of the look. Inground is great, but expensive, and the liner/surface is always a factor. Several folks have suggested a fiberglass pool because the upkeep is minimul as opposed to a liner or concrete.
I know I don't want to have to water sample test every week or buy $$$$ in chemicals to keep it clear all the time, so we will begin with a salt pump.
Any thoughts? A reputable local dealer?
