I roll out refrigerator biscuits for the crust, smear it with non-brand spaghetti sauce, throw on whatever veggies or leftover meat I have in the fridge & cover with mozzerella & bake per the biscuit instructions. I have half of the top of an old marble top table that I used for a pizza stone. Good luck.
i use the marth white crust mix...pile on some sauce, hamburger meat, pepperoni and a few jalepenos then cheese...
mmmmm pizza..
do they sell dry yeast at wal mart?

I make a "mexican pizza" using flour tortillas..
You can use prepared pizza sause, salsa, or make your own pizza sauce with.
Place two large flour tortillas on a pizza stone.
Put on a layer of pizza sauce (you can buy it prepared, or make your own)
Suggestions for toppings:
I always sprinkle some red and green peppers, onions and diced fresh tomatoes.
You can be creative with the rest of the toppings: hamburger, mushrooms, black olives, pepperoni...whatever suits you.
Top that with plenty of shredded pizza cheese...bake it in a 400 degree oven until the cheese is melted well, Cut and enjoy.
You can also buy the regular pizza crusts already made...

Ford's biscuit dough idea doesn't sound very good to me, so I found a recipe for a pizza crust (http://www.biblicalwomanhoodonline.com/2007/09/homemade-pizza-in-less-than-30-minutes.html).

and it calls for "dry yeast"? You mean it's supposed to rise? Do tell...
you could substitute the flour with bisquick, forget about the yeast and have about the same thing.

I get the Chef Boyardee kit on the "Ethnic" isle by the noodles and spag. sauce, etc.
It has the BEST pizza sauce and you just add water to the dough mix and let it rise. Then buy cheese and toppings.
do they sell dry yeast at wal mart?
Yes. It is on the baking aisle. Comes in packets and jars.

Give the refrigerator biscuit crust a chance, you just have to roll it out thin like between a quarter & an eighth of an inch and use a pizza stone sprinkled with a little dry corn meal.
Well I bought the ingredients for the crust, including the "dry, active yeast," which was hidden on aisle 6 at the Corner Market. I'm about to go start making the pizza. I'll let y'all know how it comes out.

My recipe for pizza is to go to Sam's and buy one. They make them for me and they have better pizzas than I could ever make. Easy, not messy, not much cleanup and everyone is happy. I did have to buy a larger pizza pan for them as they are huge.

It was DELICIOUS. I used this recipe (http://www.biblicalwomanhoodonline.com/2007/09/homemade-pizza-in-less-than-30-minutes.html) for the crust, and rolled it a little thinner than I think the recipe intended, judging from a picture on that website. I used some leftover RAGU sauce, then added about a cup of cheddar and two cups of mozzarella. Then lots of pepperoni, some "Canadian bacon," bell pepper, a little bit of onion, and I put crushed pineapple on one half. I cooked it at 450 for 15 minutes.
It was really easy, not that messy, and did I mention already that it was delicious?? :smt101 :smt101 :smt101 :smt101

Make some! It only took like 30 minutes from the time I started prepping the crust to the time I was sitting here eating a slice.

I'm impressed!
I realize all of these homemades are better, but if you're in a pinch and going the frozen route, Walmart now has the California brand frozen pizza in a yellow box and they are, by far, the best frozen pizza I've ever had and I've eaten alot of pizza.

Wtg Mac. The best homeade pizza I ever had was about 2 weeks ago. I bought a pizza crust (you can find them next to the "wop biscuits" in the grocery store), put on some sauce, green and red bell pepper, red onion, canadian bacon, pepperoni, black olives, mushrooms and cheese. Then, I threw that sucker on a charcoal grill for about 20 minutes. We were camping at Little Black Creek. The kids helped out. Even made their own. We had a good time and the pizza was delish.

Mr. P's frozen Pizza, .79 at the Big Star. The box says they're not microwavable but they lie.
