I wasnt there but was downtown when it happened, listening to the radio traffic there was an armed robbery of an individual around 4th and Main Streets shortly before the wreck.

Usually when a officer is involved in a traffic accident with a civilian another agency is called to work the wreck. I guess seeing that they own both cars then it doesn't matter if they work the wreck.
