If you have an overly soft heart for animals, especially cats, stop reading here and exit this thread as I am going to be detailed with this.
I ran over a cat on my way home from work. :smt009
A big white one. I had cruise set at 70 mph while coming up the interstate. While coming up the hill at the Monroe Road Exit, I saw it run full speed across the median just ahead of me, coming into the northbound lanes. I said to myself " no, no, no " but it just hoped right on out in front of me. Sounded like I ran over some train tracks at high speed.
I looked quickly in my side mirror and saw a white puff of fur. Then I looked in the rear-view and saw a cat smushed from from just behind the front legs all the way to the tail pulling itself across the lane with only its front legs. I felt so sad for the lil critter.
Now, if you kept reading this, and you know anyone who lives around the Monroe Road exit who ones a big white cat. Tell them that I am sorry and it should be just before the bridge off of the right side of the interstate if they want to bury it.
