Two police cars colliding, with no serious injuries, is simply a funny thing to us "civilians." In conjures up memories from cartoons, Smokey and the Bandit, Car 54 Where Are You, and others. There was no harm meant in the comments here. There were other cars called to respond to the "call," I am quite sure. No need to chastise or get drawers in a wad....IMHO

do we know who the officers are yet???
Hahahaha! Probably the same guy who was going the wrong way down that one way street the other day.
I laughed. Not at thought of the cop cars wrecking, but in a kind of "funniest home videos" way.

Just hope the officers aren't hurt badly.
Things like this can happen and it is normal for people to have a laugh at the expense of this unusual happening.
Our lives need some laughter and humor now and then.
Years ago in Prentiss, a city police car and a Highway Patrol car collided behind an auto parts store or across from Ward's. Both the officers were on different channels or so I heard.
The picture of the colliding cars was on front page of Prentiss Headlight with a caption and story.
As I was driving into Prentiss one day, I was behind the Mississippi Highway Patrol investigator that had to go write it up or whatever.

Exactly. I meant absolutely no harm by it. Didn't even mean for it to be taken seriously. Actually Augustus was right on the money when he said Smokey and the Bandit because that's the exact type scene I was thinking of.

I know I say some offensive things and I get groaned at pretty much everyday for SOMETHING I've posted, but most of the time I'm smirking when I type such things, and hoping those reading it are doing the same. Cynicism, sarcasm, callousness... They all apply. Life is fun and absurd. If I weren't perfect, I'd laugh at my own mistakes, but since I don't make any, I'm forced to compromise. So have some compassion and give me a break. It's a tough life, being so ideal.

Except for that time you said, before seeing the movie, that Hulk was going to be terrible. Then you saw the movie and admitted you liked it. Guess it wasn't so terrible eh? :-D

Here's some interesting information. Somewhat related to the topic...
In 2004 I drove to Gulfport to watch SpiderMan at the Cinemark (in the days before we had a stadium seating theatre). On my way home, it was raining. I was still in the lower part of GP, around the Taco Sombrero restaurant, headed north. I was in the far left lane, and there was a Gulfport officer in the far right lane. Apparently she was responding to an accident, and from the far right lane (on the 3-lane section of 49), she shot across three lanes of traffic, with no siren, and she had just turned her lights on without time for me to stop. She hit the front end of my car, damaging it pretty badly. I got the accident report, she was deemed to be at fault. However, the state laws of Mississippi, as I would later find out, do not hold police officers liable for damages while on duty, barring major wrecklessness. So my insurance company was responsible for paying for the damages. My agent said that when he called the Gulfport police department to get information, they said "Oh, her again?" So despite her repeated accidents, they don't have to pay. Don't you love our legal system?

There are 2 exceptions here... Either:
A: I was only saying that because I knew fanboy you and fanboy that other guy we hang out with would cream y'all's pants when any mention of SHIELD or Tony Stark or anything like that was mentioned. And I basically just wanted to argue with you.
B: That movie really was terrible, but I still liked it.
Either way, one of them is going to be correct. Stay on topic Frenchy. Don't you have some mayonnaise to eat or something?

You should have taken the payment from her flesh, kind of like in that movie "A Knight's Tale," when Heath Ledger doesn't have enough money to pay for... well... something or other, they just beat the crap out of him. What did she say when you both stopped and had face to face words? I would have seriously unloaded on her.

I didn't say anything much to her initially except to see if she was OK. It was rainy that night, and she was talking to the cop who did the report, so I figured I was screwed anyways and went to sit in my car until everything was completed. Then he brought me the report, and I went home, and it was a few days later that I found out she was ruled at fault.
