Work that has been snarling traffic at the intersection of Hardy Street and U.S. 49 will continue well into July, officials with the Mississippi Department of Transportation said.
Ok... when was it not a pain in the rear?

Hardy Street really isn't bad since they made the changes. Especially with school out now.

I hear that US 49 and N. 31st Avenue is also a mess....for motorists who ride scooters and mopeds! (Sorry :kekeke:)

Yes, this is when they should be making changes. Making changes in the spring during 8-5 was not a good decision.

It has to happen some time. There was a lot of work...and it can't all happen in the summer time. Truly, it wasn't that bad, all things considered. Kudos to MDOT and Warren Paving.

From what I have seen it will be nice and will greatly help when they are done. I just try to avoid the area during peak hours.

When I know I have to go across town, I know it should only take about 10 minutes but I plan for 30-40 these days. I remember the good ole days when you could get from USM to Oakgrove in 15 minutes. LOL
