My wife and I went out to eat Saturday...and lo 'n behold...Fiorella's is CLOSED! It's freakin' empty! No sign indicating a move or anything...
Some folks I know didn't like it too much, but we LOVED it. Sad days.

Didn't someone (maybe another thread?) say it was changing to a Cajun Cafe or semething like that? I forget stuff- the more I put in my head, the more stuff falls out the other side.

Yeah. I don't remember the title of the thread, but someone said that the people who own it also operate a New Orleans style cafe, and that they're going to change Fiorella's to another one of those.

This should happen to the one in Purvis or they need to have a huge overhaul. I'm assuming it's the same kind of place since it has the same name?

Well I've been in there when it was actually decent but been in there more times when it wasn't. Perico's is alright. I guess there's no place in Purvis that really stands out enough for me to say it's my favorite.

We don't have enough places in Purvis! Rowdy Taters closed and while it wasn't great, at least it added to there variety and there was somewhere different to eat. Maybe someone will open up Dave's Down Under into something that isn't a steak house with jacked up prices. I'm wearing Subway out! Either that or going to Ramey's and getting frozen dinners! I have my suggestion into Keith's that they need to attract a Taco Bell where Rowdy Taters used to be. They said that they've heard others hoping for a Taco Bell. Only thing at Perico's I like is the shrimp fajitas. I'm sure that they have other things that are good, but so far that's the only thing I found that I like.

The one in Hattiesburg was TERRIBLE! We went once and it was so bad that it didn't deserve another chance. I've had Lean Cuisine's that was better!

Fiorellas was in the strip mall besides Winsell's Oyster House. As you drive down to Winsell's, Fiorella's will be on the right in a tiny strip mall.

Fiorellas was by Wintzels ,behind the new starbucks...and was blah and way overpriced. As a family of 4,with no apps. or desserts we spent 90 bucks on that crap. And Paninos...I've been twice, and got very sick the next day both times.Pretty place and nice atmosphere, my tummy just says stay away.

I just guessed at it. Panino's has changed under the new owner. The ingredients have also changed. I noticed that even the Parmesan cheese that you sprinkle on the food is different. It just doesn't have the same flavor it used to have. There is no telling how much money I spent in that place and I was a regular there for a long time. I was so much of a regular that I got hugs from all of the waitresses when I came in there.....I miss that the most!!
