Ive seen it before. Couple has argument, one person kills the other, then commits suicide. I didn't figure it was an outside suspect or anything on this one.

I wonder why that is the first thing that comes to mind in a case like this? That is exactly what I thought. Murder-suicide. How sad that people can be that unhappy.

That's what I thought too. Suicide/murder didn't even enter my mind after hearing it was an elderly couple.

I have noticed that some elderly couples commit murder suicide for health and financial reasons. Not because of arguments but because they see no other way out or because they hate to see a loved one suffer.

Good Day Jo
A Hattiesburg man who was once a juror in the O.J. Simpson murder trial and who later wrote a book about his experience is dead along with his wife in an apparent murder suicide.
Police found Kennedy and her husband Tracy, 65, dead inside their home. Judith Kennedy was shot multiple times and Tracy Kennedy once, officials said.
Hattiesburg Police were called to the 100 block of Hillendale Drive around midnight Wednesday after family members were unable to contact 67-year-old Judith Kennedy.
Although official autopsy reports are not in, officials say they believe the couple may have been dead for as much as two days before being discovered.
There are reports two handguns, a .38 and a .45, were found near the bodies.
It is not known how long the Kennedy's had lived in Hattiesburg after they retired and moved south from California.
