Jimmyjam taped our program here at Wesley Manor today and I need to put it on DVD's for the ladies in the choir. I can burn them but don't know how I would transfer the tape to a DVD. All you computer whizzes ought to be able to help a poor little (big) lady out.lol

oh man... if SoMissTV wasnt banned he could tell you how to do it
i know how to do it but its not something thats easy to describe and i dont have a specific piece of equipment to do it
basically you have to capture the tape then dump it out to dvd...unless you have the equipment do transfer directly from cassette to dvd

The fastest and easiest way for you to convert it to a DVD would be to find someone with a standalone dvd burner that is made to connect to your television. You would connect your camera to the inputs on the back of the burner via the vga cables and merely play the video and burn it to the dvd at the same time.
The other methods include the purchase of video capture devices to connect to your pc.
