They are alot of crazy driver out there.... what gives you, or near gives you road rage?
Me...
Folks that don't use blinkers
People that drive in the left lane and are doing under the speed limit!
People that come to a full stop on off ramps like the one going from I59 to the EGP headed to Petal..(if someone is in that lane they aint comming across the bridge.... they would have to be driving on air across I59)
Ditto for folks going from I59 and getting onto Hardy ST West.... and stopping becasue they want to get all the way over and turn left at the next light....(Go up and make a right and turn around for goodness sakes. It may take longer for you but at least it does not back traffic all the way to the 4th street bridge on 59... creating a hazard!)
When I am doing 75 and the 18 wheeler I am passing is doing about 73 or so... you come up behind me doing 85...stay off my bumper, as soon as I get by I will move over but I WILL not speed up so that I can get by him faster for you!

I had this happen the other day...man is on North 10th Avenue and I am coming down Hardy. He sticks the nose of his bohemith 1975 Lincoln Town Car out into the westbound lane so I have to stop and wait so I can go around him and he's looking at me like I am weird. Maybe I should've taken the front end of his car off for him to wipe that smirk off his face for him.

I think yall just about covered it for me except for the ones that know good and well they don't have time to pull out in front of you but do it anyway knowing that you will slow down and let them out.

My biggest rage is people pulling out in front of you knowing they don't have proper time and then can't even do close to the speed limit. Also, the people who pull out in front of you and then you have to stop so they can make a left turn.
And since I'm usually on a motorcycle, left turners who need to be shot because they nearly kill me.

Numero uno is drivers who refuse to use their turn signals. I go into a complete snit.

Depends on whether I've had my meds or not whether I slow down.:smt118 Can't tell you how many times I've had to fight with myself just to keep from plowing into them.

When idiots try to enter a freeway at 40 mile per hour, and everybody already on the frwy's, are running from 70 to 80 mph, and your behind the idiot.

people that pull out in front of me, drive 20 miles per hour, then turn LEFT, ten yards down the road without using their signals!

People who are coming towards you and are on the wrong side of the road--coming towards me on MY side.
I don't get mad about much unless it puts me or my passengers in danger...so that one makes me absolutely berserk. I usually honk and holler at them--even after they've swerved back into their lane.
I swear that happens to me once a day, too.

That one is a big rage maker in me. I am in the process of passing someone and another car comes up behind me and tailgates as if I am going too slow in the left lane. I am passing, it is what the left lane is for. Back off and I will get over when I clear the other car. Very simple and common courtesy. I have watched folks do this to other drivers, too, and it makes me just as mad. Makes me want to slow down to about 40 and let them wait awhile longer to get by. If I knew no one would get hurt, I'd slam on my breaks and let them pay for me a new car! I can't stand tailgaters!

Sounds like a normal day for me. I see all of this usually in the same day. If drivers would just be more thoughtful of others, life would be a whole lot better for all.:smt001

The only thing that drives me insane when I'm behind the wheel of a car is when people use the left lane as a travel lane. Y'all down here in the south seem to think that's what it was made for. I've tried to adapt, but it still kills me. Make me break my cruise because you're toodling along in the left lane, and I'll want to do you bodily harm.
I use some of the worst language when I'm driving. I am an uber road-rager.
I hate it when someone is passing me, then slows down right beside me to do the same speed I'm doing.
Some of the worst rage comes from the 18 wheelers thinking they own the road, especially in a construction zone where they block both lanes because they don't want anyone to go around them.

Fuzz, I actually thought of you a couple nights ago! I was going down 98 a little west of Target.... riding along in the right lane, but someone was going about 40, so that wasn't gonna fly... switch to the left lane, not much better! I ended up passing the chick (on her cell phone and oblivious!) using the RIGHT lane! I guess one thing in drivers ed that stuck with me was that the left lane is the passing lane. I feel your pain on that one.

What makes me mad on the road? Lots of things. The turn signal thing is a big one for me. Here are two others:
1. Drunk drivers.
2, People who turn in front of me (causing me to slam on my breaks) when they could have waited an extra few seconds until I passed, because there was NO ONE behind me.

What makes me mad is not having an antigrav button that I can press that will lift me up above traffic and then another button that pops wings out and little jet engines pop out the back end.

I love driving in the left lane, but I don't toodle, I cook. Sometimes I like to imagine I'm in Europe. :smt105
I agree that it sucks when people get in the left lane and do 65. We got behind someone like that on 55 on our way home the other day. There was a truck in the right lane, so I couldn't go around. She was only doing about 65 and when I got up close to her, she kept looking at me in the rearview and giving me dirty looks. MOVE YOUR SLOW ASS INTO THE SLOW LANE!

If I started this list I would be here for days. I'm pretty much aggravated any time anybody is on the road at the same time as me cause NOBODY around here can drive. But here's a list of things that pissed me off yesterday.
Tards riding 4 deep in purple Sentras wanting to race me when I'm just trying to drive down the road.:kekeke:
Tards in beat up old red Civic hatchbacks with loud ass fart cans trying to race me and purple Sentras.
People who go the wrong way down the parking lot aisle.
Then cut through the parking lot to take a short cut to the road I'm traveling down, and almost hit me.
Then proceed to go down the parking lot aisle the wrong way again, and almost hit me again!:banghead:
People who can't stay in their own lane until they're ten feet from hitting me head on, and then can't handle it when I swerve at them and yell.:smt084 (twice)
That's a pretty normal day of driving for me.

The parking lot thing made me laugh. My son lives on the West Coast, and people where he lives are very courteous drivers -- use signals, don't tailgate, etc. At least not like they do here. But they turn into raving madmen in parking lots, according to him and his wife.

When you are waiting to pull out on the Highway and traffic is really bad... then as soon as traffic clears up and you think you can go, here comes someone going really slow in the lane you need to be in. Then that causes you to have to wait 5 more minutes until you have a break in traffic again. Oh... and the times you decide to just pull out in front of them and speed up quickly, they get mad and honk at you!

When they do that, I run up on em and give em a lil bump. It gets the point across, they usually pull over to the right lane. Then to the shoulder. And this guy with blue lights on the top of his car starts following me :smt102
But seriously, I go psycho on those people and usually find some way to express my displeasure with them. They don't usually appreciate it.

I've noticed in La., if you're going to slow in the left lane, people won't hesitate to flash their lights and get you to move over.....Hell, I've been going 85 in the left lane and had people flash me to get over....

Another thing that used to make me really mad (back in my law enforcement days) is when officers/firemen/paramedics have their emergency lights on and are in the left lane, trying to get to an EMERGENCY.....yet, the dumb ass in front of them has no idea what they are supposed to do! And they continue to drive in the left lane, as if the emergency vehicles can just fly over them!
This was one of the things that really shocked me when I moved to the South (it was the same way in Alabama), because it is not as big as a problem up north (or at least where I learned how to drive).

I really hate when someone is going 75 and decides they want to pass an 18 wheeler that is going 73 and it takes them 3 days to get around them.

That happens in Wisconsin, too. And then I love when five or six miles down the road, that asshole has been pulled over by a cop!! I wish I had this smilie to display as I pass them by:

I hate when I'm going 80 in the left lane passiing people, and someone gets in my bumper....I'll pull to the right to let them by, and suddenly they realize they'll be the first one the HP will tag, so they slow down to 75 and ride right in my blind spot for about the next 10 miles....

It makes me uncomfortable as hell having them right there. I like to have my space on the open road and it aggravates me that some jerk has to be just right behind my bumper in the left lane when there's nobody else around.
Another thing that bothers me is when I'm in a merge lane with someone behind me and I pull out on the main road the guy behind me decides to pass me as I'm merging. He has no idea how fast I'm going to drive or which lane I'm going to pick to get in, but yet he just has to attempt to pass me.

Another one to make the blood pressure go through the roof is when someone is at a stop sign and I'm coming up on them at 55 mph. with no one behind me for miles and they pull out in front of me like they are in a rush to the hospital, then proceed to go about 30 mph! If you were in such an all-fire hurry to get in front of me, then go! Grrrr. That ticks me off just thinking about it. :smt067

Tail gaters really get to me too Jimmy. They are bad on my road. I wait until they can't pass and then I slow down....REAL SLOW. I guess I'm just a mean old lady sometimes. Sometimes I wait until they get real close and just barely touch my brakes...just enough to make the brakelights come on. I've made a few folks almost run off the road that way.

I have a better solution for tailgaters. I came up with the idea when I made the mistake of brake checking an undercover cop one time :ohnoes:.
Anyway, just turn on your left blinker and slow down like you're about to turn. Then turn off the blinker and speed back up. Repeat until satisfied :smt023

I only touched my brake enough to make the brake lights come on..doesn't take much, but it sure scares them if they are too close.
