Stump Removal

I have one lone stump in my front yard from a tree that fell either during Katrina or sometime b4. The stump was already here when we bought our house last year. What I need to find out is how much it would cost to have that one stump removed. Anybody have any ideas.

i got a huge stump and a couple small ones done in our front yard done for about 125. I can't recall the guys name that did it but his name was mentioned in thread on here a few months back.

This may sound crazy, but if you douse the stump liberally with castor oil & wait a couple of months the castor oil will turn the wood all soft & pithy & you can dig it out with a shovel.
