The University of New Orleans jumped out to a big, quick lead and kept it, beating the Golden Eagles 67-56.

wow.. i hope the guys can do good this year and really get people back into basketball in hattiesburg again

It was the first loss of more than two points for the Eagles, who are 9-3. New Orleans (5-7) has now won two in a row.

this was a tough loss.. but hopefully this will help for the future and showing that smaller teams aren't necessarily push overs :)

well i use to go to southern games all the time back when weatherspoon was there.. but i havent been in a long time
