Hub Dollars are something you get for participating in this forum. Someday, we hope to get businesses on board in Hattiesburg that will donate coupons in exchange for advertising on the site. Our users will then trade their saved hub dollars for coupons. We will have to come up with some type of exchange rate for these coupons, like $500 = Coupon for free Sub, something like that.
The rate at which you earn Hub Dollars are as follows:
For starting a new topic: $5
For replying to a topic: $2
The author of the topic gets $1 each time he gets a reply also
You also get a bonus of $0.01 per character in your post. So longer posts, get more dollars up to a maximum of $25.
Your dollars earned by each post is shown briefly after you post.
