The family of a 15-year-old state inmate who died in the Forrest County jail in last March has filed a $30 million wrongful death lawsuit against Sheriff Billy McGee.

Just have to wait and see how this turns out, I can't tell if it was negligence or not.

Yeah, the article really doesn't give enough information to come to any conclusion. I wouldn't think you could sue the jail just because some dies there of natural causes. However, if the sheriff's office didn't give the inmate his medicine on time or something of that nature then I could see where the family may have a chance to sue. But its like you said we will just have to wait and see how it turns out.
