View Full Version : Event Topic Guidelines (Please read before making new topics)

This forum was setup for the convenience of our visitors. If you are a registered user (this is free and we encourage that you do it), then you can post your Hattiesburg/Pine Belt event or an event that you are trying to promote in Hattiesburg for all of our visitors to see. These events will also show up on the home page for visitors.

Please post according the following guidelines.

1. In the Subject, please put the name of the event only.

2. In the message body, please indicate where, when, and a summary of what's going on.

3. Events are restricted to Hattiesburg, and the Pine Belt area only.

Also, as always at MyHattiesburg.com, no rude or profane language is allowed. This service is free and you are open to post as many events as you would like, as long as you stay within the simple guidelines we have set aside.

The steps to creating a event are simple.

1. Login with your username (or register (http://www.myhattiesburg.com/forums/register.php) if you haven't yet). These are at the top of this page.

2. Click on the Calendar button.

3. Look in the lower right hand corner at the "Add an Event" box. Click on "Single All-Day Event", "Ranged Event" (if it has a starting and ending time), or "Recurring Event" (if it's happening several times in a week or month)

4. Fill in the post form.

5. Click Submit

That's it. If you create an event in the calendar, it will add a topic here.
