A new browser was released for Windows today called K-Meleon. It's supposed to be a light browser that won't use too many resources and that would be better on smaller computers. Worth the download if your computer is outdated or your a developer. They are probably getting thousands of downloads today, so you may not reach the website.

Has anyone here actually used it? I'm on FireFox now, and it's the best browser so far. But if this melon thing is better, I might try it. Haven't been able to get on their site either

I've got it now, and it's not better, but it is lighter, meaning it starts up faster.

Firefox is a great browser. It has an amazing lineup of plugins and the tabbed browsing feature is awesome for increasing productivity. Although Microsoft is hard at work on the next version of Internet Explorer, and I'm sure it will have alot of shiny new features as well. I heard they were dropping support for ActiveX in IE7, anyone else able to confirm this?
