It's that time again! Hattiesburg's Relay for Life will be held April 29 on the campus of USM. For anyone who doesn't know, Relay for Life is the American Cancer Society's biggest fundraiser. The Relay will begin at 6:00 pm and last through the night until 6:00 am. I encourage everyone to attend. There will be food, drinks, games, prizes, music, karaoke and many other events to keep us all away and entertained. My team is holding a 'donation drawing' this year. A $1.00 donation gets you 1 ticket. MANY local businesses have donated prizes ranging from gift certificates for dinners to $100 gift cards, to elaborate gift baskets. There are also some prizes such as 2 seasons passes to PRCC baseball, 2 season passes to 6 Flags over LA. Anyone interested in donating to the drawing or joining in at the Relay for Life--feel free to call me!
