King Kong, yes I actually saw the Sensodyne commercial last night. I thought he did a better job on it than he did on "Something About Mary." His acting skills on that movie were pretty bad. *One of my friends said she saw him and his family the other night eating at El Rancho in West Hattiesburg. I thought that was pretty neat.

USMdesigner we won't hold it against you for not liking the pack more. ;) *I also support Payton since he is from Mississippi, but I still like Brett more. I guess it could be because I saw him playing during his college years while he was at USM, so I kept up with him after he went pro. I really never have cared for Ole Miss.

yeah, we really need more people coming here for other reasons than the mayor's race. that's what a lot of people are viewing this site as... just a place to bash the mayor and in general.. a lot of hate. i still cant get over the fact that dupree has banned this site from city hall. i guess he doesnt really handle criticism well at all. and it shows he makes rash decisions that arent thought out at all.

why ban people from coming here? work on the people that are here to come to his side, is what i would do. address what is being said and tell the people that work for me to post on here and help his name out.

so far it kinda looks like this. Dupree = -2 Others = 64

reason for -2 is because the people that actually are supporting him or nothing but children. (by the way they post, cursing and generally rambling with obscene remarks and no good feed back at all.

we love the attention from all of the race, but like aaron said, when the race is over.. what then? we still will be here. we need people coming here for other reasons. :)

it's getting quiet in here? You should have been around about 2 months ago when we had 5 people registered. It's growing day by day. We've had a little boost here due the the mayor's race, but I still think we're growing at about the same pace as far as regular members go.

I administrate another forum that has a much better reputation system than this one. You only have so many points per day, and you have to give points to several other people before you can add/subtract from the same person again. Who ever said we all know each other? That's the thing about the internet. You meet people there, and after you talk to them for several months, you get to know them. I have met probably 10-12 people on here since I joined this site back in April and we talk just about every time we're on this site, either by private messaging or via instant messaging. But the thing is, even though I know a lot about these people, I probably wouldn't know but maybe 2 or 3 if they walked up to me on the street. ;)
