I'm really suprised any council members have websites. Of course, what he's got is something that was quickly thrown together, I know because it looks like one of the sites I have designed for the Hattiesburg Technology Group (http://www.hattiesburgtechnology.com). Anyway, I believe it to be beneficial to have a site up to tell voters more about your campaign, but at the prices that most web design companies charge, I can see it being a tough choice. I hope more council candidates follow suit. I think a lot of people thought that the internet wasn't a powerful medium in Hattiesburg, but this site should prove them wrong. I knew that Hattiesburg was signing on, and I also knew that they were going somewhere else because the Hattiesburg internet has always been behind the times.
