yeah but she called her parents and told them she had been kidnapped. she was faking crying and sounded distressed, which would cause any loving parent to alert the police. so think of the countless hours spent searching for this girl all because she had cold feet. what ever happened to just being honest with the one you love??? :?

ok, my question is, when did she call her parents? On CNN, it looked like she called her parents said she was kidnapped, had the police come pick her up, and then confessed it was a lie.

ok, she went missing on tuesday and called her fiance on friday. but still, that doesn't change my opinion of how this was a selfish and self-centered act on her part. i think of all the people involved... not only were the police looking for her, but what about the 600 invitations she mailed out and the 14 bridesmaids and 14 groomsmen? her relatives had offered a $100k reward for info and were planning a prayer vigil. her fiance had even become the target of suspicion and had agreed to a private polygraph test! i know people get cold feet, but come on. she didn't have to leave town like she did. sounds like she has more serious issues to deal with in herself than to go to that extreme to get out of marrying someone you supposedly love.
