Reputation is given to you by the members here. If someone doesn't like your post, they give you negative reputation, if they like it, they add to it. You can add or subtract 1 point of rep every 3 hours. At this point, I wouldn't worry too much about rep. I would hope though, that you would only give negative rep for someone posting spam, misinformation, or attacking someone else. Unfortunately, this isn't the case right now.

If that is the case then how did Hubcitysmitty's go from -3 to 14 in the matter of about 10 minutes? I hardly think that he has done anything at this point to earn that.

i did it to be sarcastic, he was complianing he was so low that i made him to the top. i never look at the reputation. i know by now who to listen too without looking at the reputation.

Well, I received some questionable comments from you and Reality, then my reputation starts decreasing. You told me that a member can subtract another member's reputaion only once a day, and I lost 4 in a day, then you added to +14. You yourself are breaking the rules. I'm just recognizing how unfair the people on this site are if someone questions anything or is not in favor of Rowell. Seems mighty suspicious to me.

Very funny tempatv, I was thinking that the mods would be the only ones who could do that since it will only allow you to modify the rep of a single user once every three hours.

Dude, please take some advice from me, it won't cost you a dime or a reputation point...Take some time to read some of the back stories on what has taken place here during the last few weeks. *Also, take some time to browse around and learn some of the features of the forum.

Also, *post an introductory message in the "Introduce Yourself" section. *Give folks a chance to get to know you and you to know them before you begin making value judgements on everyone. *I assure you that give a bit of time and self-education you will find that there are quite a few quality folks here who are very knowledgable about local issues.

So, its OK for people to make unfair value judgments on me, but not vice versa? I have read the back posts, and all I found out is that because AskBetsy opposed Rowell,he was banned. We live in a society that welcomes free speech, especially and most importantly in regard to politics.

And, I also assume you are saying that because tempatv is a moderator, I'm wasting my time complaining about him breaking the rules and being sarcastic to me?

Look Smitty, if you go back and read all 41 of my post to this site you will see that I have been very straightforward with all of my comments. If I see a candidate or anyone else for that matter, doing something that is either stupid, risky, or whatever, I don't have a problem with calling them on it.

I really don't think that this site, in and of itself, is pro-Betsy. Lots of different opinions, ideas, and points of view are expressed here. However, there are rules to be followed on this site just as there are rules in civil society.

AskBetsy violated the rules, plain and simple, and that is why he was banned. Not because he was outwardly against Betsy. He was here for weeks bashing Betsy before he was banned. If that was the sole reason, why did it not happen before now?
