Hello!* I grew up in Hattiesburg, moved out of state in 1981 due to a job transfer, but still consider Hattiesburg home.* I keep up with what's going on in town and who's died by reading the HA online.* Didn't realize what a slanted view of local news I was getting until I happened across this forum.

Thanks for joining, and welcome to the forums. Yeah, the news is just restricted on what it can and can't report because of many reasons I think. Some have to do with money, some with government, and some with corporate headquarters. Point is, when you have that many strings attached, it's hard to get the unbiased truth.
