I watched National Treasure, starring Nicholas Cage, for the second time in a week, because I enjoyed it that much. It was an action-packed movie just about from start to finish. I recommend it to everyone who enjoys a movie which keeps you on the edge of your seat. One thing I noticed about this movie was it had no cursing or sexual innuendo. I think that's what made me enjoy it so much. Good family movie. :D

I liked it also. I like history movies in general though.

I enjoyed this one as well. A lot of action and nice Indiana Jonesish feel to it.

I saw National Treasure this weekend. Loved it! It was sort-of-a combination of Goonies/Indiana Jones/Mission Impossible. I am fascinated by things that, even though we see them as fiction, could possibly be truth.

Your family would be better off if you set a good example by spelling "innuendo" correctly, you hapless excuse for a mother. :smt102

Thanks for pointing that out WeeOne. What happened to your statement to Aaron though:

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

OK, OK, you win aaron. Wee One is turning over a new leaf. From now on, it's nice Wee One, all the time every time.

Crap.

You sure are a miserable person.

- REPORT BAD POST - for you. CHA CHING!

Well, in just a minute, WeeOne is going to be downgraded to Troll status by the board software because his reputation is so low. I'll then have to approve every post he makes. I hope I have time to do something like that. I don't know, maybe they will just sit in limbo for a few days.

I couldn't agree more. Might I suggest an orchestrated campaign to hasten the little man's status to Troll. It just seems so fitting.

Back on topic...

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It was fast paced and entertaining with a blend of science fiction and history.

The only negative I could say about it is that even though it was that blend of sci-fi and history I thought the script took too many literary liberties. Some of the ideas were just too unbelievable and I think a good sci-fi flick (even though this was not touted as such) has to maintain a level of believability.

Those snigglies are not worth missing the movie over, however.

I give it a 4.

I thought this was a fantastic movie, and while you kind of knew what was going to happen the end was a suprise. I would have never guessed that kind of ending.

Great flick with a little history. I agree with the earlier post about a little Indiana Jones/Mission Impossible feel.

I'm glad this thread popped up to the New Posts again. It's a great movie to actually OWN, now that it's out, and watch over and over again...I must-have for family movie collections

I hungrily waited for this movie to come out and it was everything I could have wanted. The material to me is familiar and the plot twists made it like an interesting walk; I savored each and every detail. Did I rewatch it? You bet. ^5

There has been such a flood of movies and books like this lately. I have probably caught or read most of them. I had had the books on cd of The DaVinci Code long before it was made into a movie. Tomorrow night will be a good night for Fracture at The Grand. Weird coffee will be involved I'm sure and some time at Books-a-Million.
