Ok, how do you put into words the awesomeness of these movies? :smt102

J.R.R. Tolkien's imagination was absolutely brilliant. The special effects in each of these movies were amazing, and I loved every one of them. I own all of the dvd's. I'm not sure about children watching them...there are some pretty graphic scenes and plenty of violence. Guess it would be up to the parents to watch first, then decide. Of course, each of the movies are pretty long, so that may be the answer for kids watching them. hehe

Definitely 5 stars. :smt038

I loved all of The Lord of the Rings movies. After the second one came out on DVD we watched both with friends--the uncut versions--which pushed almost 4 hours or so each. But they were great.

We (my family and I) have watched all of the Lord of the Rings Movies. I loved the movies in terms of special effects but most of all just love the story and have since I first read them in Jr. High. Lord of the Rings is just a classic tale that is timeless.

Oh great, now you've done it. I guess I will have to post something really manly here so I can maintain my aura of ruggedness and manliness. :smt070 :smt072
