QM, your son's not a teenager yet is he? Ladies, should we break it to her how long a box of cereal & milk really last?
I had an egg sandwich. Trying to use up anything that need to be cooked on the stove.
Yummo. What kinda egg sammich. Scrambled egg? Or hard fried egg? Or egg salad? Or omelet type.

I know a guy that used to pour the milk into the box....I'm sure he's outgrown that though....
You can buy cereal to go now. Comes in plastic bottle type. Just pour the milk in and drink it on the way to school or work, I guess.:( I have to have about 1/2 C of sugar on my cereal.

I'm in love with your mama. YUMMO!!:smt118 I love R B and R with a passion. And fried okra, fried very very crisp. And corn on the cob, dripping in real butter, loaded with salt and pepper. The green beans usually don't have enough fat back to stop my heart. I like enough fat in beans that I can hear my arteries slamming shut like jail cell doors.

I had a salad.......again and milk. But I make a good salad. Dessert was pop corn. I'd kill for some cobbler w/ ice cream. Gotta get the weight off.

haha yeah, I used to eat her okra like popcorn... she'd put it in a big bowl and me and my best friend would walk around and eat it like it was popcorn or chips or something! She's a great cook!

LOL! The kids and I did our annual "Clean out the Freezer" meal. That's where you take all the "little" bags of things, usually those snacky type - not-good-for-you stuff, and cook it all at the same time. Kinda like an appetizer dinner.

I had fried livers again, because they were nearing the "sell by" date and I still had a touch of that craving today. I still have almost a whole tub of them. Need some fish bait, Fish Bait?
I really need to learn how to make some healthy meals that don't involve baked skinless chicken breast.

It isn't suppertime yet and I can't imagine that I could eat anything else today. We had a later than usual lunch. Baked pork chops with Hawkeye's pickled figs, squash casserole, sliced tomatoes, broccoli with butter & lemon juice and rolls. Yum, yum, yum. I am full as a tick but please don't squish me, I still have a lot to accomplish today.:)

Well, I've been cooking in the living room since my kitchen got demo'd, so tonight Mom felt sorry for me and cooked for me, Baby Bro & wife. We had hamburger steak with mushroom gravy (fresh mushrooms, yea! Mom!) fried green apples, steamed green beans with new potatoes, sliced tomatoes and cornbread. And SIL brought some of her Italian custard with fresh blueberries and strawberries. Ummmm. Guess tomorrow it'll be back to pb&j for me too!

Pepperoncinis. The xboy and his brothers used to practice "pepper love". They'd open the jar and stand around the kitchen counter eating, one after the other, them until someone gave up. He told me if I really loved him, I'd be up for some pepper love. I guess I didn't love him. :-D
