Hmmmmm...that sounds a bit better than my popcorn. I actually went with a baby greens salad, topped with ground flax seed, crumbled feta cheese, salad toppings, walnuts, and finished with a raspberry/walnut dressing.
I still think I'm going to have some popcorn with peanut butter chips. :smt102

fuzzis, that salad sounds awesome - I love anything with feta cheese.
I had a chicken enchilada weight watchers dinner. Now I'm eating fat free cheese & crackers w/ a diet dr. pepper. ah - to be on a diet.......
QM...do you use flax seed? I've started putting it in just about everything for the boost of fiber. Helps me feel fuller faster. I put it on my salad...use it in pancake batter...have started putting it in chicken/tuna salad.

I've never used flax seed. does it have the same consistency as either sesame seed or rye? Is it a little on the crunchy side?
I actually use the ground flax seed...whole flax doesn't digest well and has little of the benefit of ground or flax seed oil. It adds a bit of a nutty flavor to the things you put it in. When I make pancakes with it, the pancakes look a bit like whole wheat pancakes. You can pick up ground flax seed at WalMart.
It must be kept in the fridge or freezer, though. It goes rancid.

Fuzzis, I didn't know the benefit to your heart and lowering cholesterol. You know I've had heart surgery and take medicine for high cholesterol. I especially was interested in the omega 3 fatty acids - I do not eat any seafood so it's difficult for me to get omega 3 in most other foods.
thanks for the info - i'll definitely try it -sounds like it could be a big benefit for me.
As with any increase in fiber...there will be some initial...gastric (?) adjustments.

Got a cheese double cheese combo, and a spicy chicken sandwich (on sale for $1.19).
The place was nice. The only odd thing, aside from the dining room, was that it only had one drive-through. I find this amusing, as the cups and fry containers have a promotional piece written on them regarding the two drive-throughs at Checkers. If you're ever in Orlando, you should check it out. It's right across the street from the world's largest McDonald's playland.

I usually try to avoid looking at Checker's when I'm on vacation. That why I love WDW... you can buy McDonald's fries in park, but the nearest Checkers is about 2 miles from the park in Old Town under a slingshot or trapese looking ride.
While you're in the area, you should take an hour and drive up to the Yalaha Country Bakery (http://www.yalahabakery.com/)... That place is SOOOOOOOOOO good.

When I think buffett, I think food-out-too-long and mass-quantities-for-mass-populations. Which tends to lead to rock-hard biscuits and nasty green beans. Not sure about burned brisket. Perhaps dried out.
