I've got a lovely cab. I like them better than merlots. *sigh*

fuzzis

What cab do you like? That used to be all I drank... now I go for a merlot to spice things up a bit.

The Biltmore Estates cabernet is great! (to me at least)... I've only found it at the liqour shop behind Chilis...

I like Mondavi wines...and I like Santa Rita 120 Cab (from Argentina). It's cheap ($7-8/bottle), but surprisingly smooth. Kinda funny that the bottle I'm drinking tonight is my last cab (except for that expensive one I'm saving for god knows what). The other bottles are Cline Big Red Truck, Timbuktu's Big Block Red, and a couple of different Syrahs. Guess I need to make a trip to World Market again.

A grilled cheese sandwich (fontina cheese, whole wheat bread) because I just came in from a meeting and was too starved to really cook. But for LUNCH I had the leftover roast-beef hash and green peas (cooked with parsley and celery seed) that I cooked for my family last night. It was really good, if'n I do say so myself.

I had something good in disney.

And at one counter service place, they had a chicken salad wrap (like tuna salad), but it was made with a sweet jerk chicken. That was one of the best cold salads I've ever had. Wonderfully delicious.

Thank you, dear lady. It ain't fun, and with all the rain and this sciatic nerve screaming at me I haven't been able to walk Ian for exercise much. Lot's of laying on a heating pad and taking prednezone, that makes me hungry and meaner'n a snake. So, 6 1/2 lbs isn't much, but under the circumstances........ I'll take it.

The G/F & I were too tired to cook so I stopped at McD's for a sack of burgers.
Is it just me or are those regular cheesebugers gettin' smaller & smaller?
They're hardly bigger than Krystals now.
The G/F & killed a half dozen between us. (I like 'em with extra pickles & I dip 'em in BBQ sauce.)
