During my recent visit to the Great State of Texas I visited the BlueBell factory in Brenham. We took a tour and got to see how the ice cream was made-pretty neat- kind of reminded me of one of the videos that Mr. Rogers used to play on his show. Anyways my point is that while we were there we saw them packing a new ice cream flavor. Somethink like Cantalope and Cream. This does not sound very good to me. I like cantalope and ice cream but together? Yuck... My favorite Blue Bell flavor is Cotton Candy which you cant get in stores-Whats ya'lls?
PS Kong I will always be a snocone girl at heart
PPS Yes Lyla the reason I started this thread is the same as citygirls lol
I have to agree with you, Kimberly. Those two flavors don't sound appetizing together.

MMMMM Blue Bell ice cream, now thats a nice topic.
My sisters ask me one time what was my fav. blue bell flavor. I had to admitt that I had not made it past Homemade Vanilla, the reason being, everytime I found myself standing in that cold air looking at all the flavors, I would always just think, what could possibly be better than homemade vanilla. Not being a person who gets real excited about change, I always went with what had satisfied me is such a pleasurable way for owe so many years. Homemade Vanilla. But I also have a appreciation for banana spilts that borders on addiction. Well earlier this year as i was standing in the frosty air reaching in for my familiar standard I notice at out of the corner of my eye Blue Bell Banana Split, well I cant tell you the anticipation that came over me. Can the same care and love that goes into reproducing that "homemade" vanilla flavor produce a banana split in a one pint carton. Without any shilly-shallying, or dilly-dallying i got a pint and hurried home. I have not bought a homemade vanilla since. Well twice to make coke floats. I have averaged about one pint everyother day since of the blue bell banana split. I higly recomend them, for the best results allow the frozen pint to thaw a bit before indulging. I will try all the ones you recomend, thank you kimberly for the excuse to branch out more into one of my favorite pleasures.

I love blue bell ice cream!
When I was at WJTV they opened a distribution center or something in Jackson and came on the early show to talk about it and brought us a bunch of gallons of ice cream. One flavor they brought and that has become my favorite is banana pudding! yummy!
Wal-mart usually doesn't have it but Sunflower on hardy has a great selection of blue bell ice cream by the pint...yummers :)
