Rated: R for sexual content, nudity, and language

We caught Wedding Crashers Saturday night. Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson were really funny together and played off each other nicely. The humor at times was a little crude but it was funny to us. A decent amount of language and some nudity(ofcourse the nudity made a lasting impression on hubby..:) ). I hadn't realized it was rated R until I just checked the rating just now. I thought while watching it should have been but didn't pay attention as we entered the theatre.

Funny movie, good amount of language and sexual content...but overall fun..it had me laughing..

I saw this Saturday night as well. First time to go the the theaters in over a year, so glad it was a really funny movie. The guest appearance by another really funny guy at the end really made the movie. I too feel that Vaughn and Wilson played off each other well, the dialouge seemed really natural. Can't wait to see the deleted seems and bloopers.

It seemed to me to be an old school adult comedy, which was pretty refreshing. I liked it. Sure, it was crude at points, (though nothing like other movies like American Pie which were crude just for the sake of it) but you couldn't help but laugh.

I gave it a five. I like the replication of the purple heart. They had this on their website but an FBI agent let them know the creation of false war insignia (such as a purple heart) is a federal offense.

I went to see this movie with a friend and we laughed the whole time. I spoke to my mom and she and a friend had just been to see it and also loved it. In speaking with another friend, she had just beento see it with her husband and brother in law, advised that her mom and 90 year old grandmother went to see it and loved it. I am not saying this is a family show, but---IT IS JUST THAT FUNNY!!!

and Vince Vaughn is a hottie!

Funny, but definitely not a movie to go to see with your mother.

I gave it a three-and-a-half. The first reel is brilliant, possibly one of the best ever in the recent history of comedic films. The montage where they tear through the weddings and the office scenes where Owen and Vince establish their relationship are pitch perfect. After this, things only get crazier with an even higher degree of comedy as the wedding turns into the weekend on the island and the supporting cast really show up to spin even more laughs. Christopher Walken is his usual menacing presence, just talking in his weird cadence making things hilarious, Bradley Cooper (from the now-cancelled but brilliant "Kitchen Confidential") is a perfect preppy foil and the cartoonish Isla Fisher (soon to be wife of Ali G. - booyachaka!) almost steals her scenes with Vince Vaughn.

But, like "There's Something About Mary"-this movie would just be silliness and crass humour without the magnificent Rachel McAdams. She makes everything believable and her budding romance with Owen Wilson is played sweetly not saccharine. The heart of the movie is the buddy team of Vaughn and Wilson, they are hilarious together and just their conversation with each other with Wilson's slow surfer-dude pace meets the manic word spillage of Vaughn sounds like the buddy teams of old like Hope and Crosby or Abbott and Costello.

The script takes a lot of chances, but in the end kind of loses steam at the limp finish. The direction is sharp allowing the comedy to build and build, then let some story slip in. After watching it, I'd say you'll likely watch it again and again like "Anchorman" and "Old School". A smart comedy with dumb humour.

By the way, I personally hate the "brat pack" designation attached to these actors. It just doesn't communicate that they are not only smartasses..but are smart.

My wife rented this movie and watched it Saturday night. I was very surprised that she didn't like the movie at all. I haven't watched it but she was very disappointed. I plan on watching it this week before we return it.
