"It is high time that the real Democrats on the respective local executive committees wrestle control of their party out of the hands of these vile closet Republicans. If Democratic Party members and their representatives cannot support traditional Democratic "family values" of strict separation of church and state, universal health care, equal employment opportunities, just wages for workers, protection and prevention of the exploitation of the poor by the rich, consumer protection from corporate pension fund malfeasance and defective products, a woman's right to choose and appointing judges who temper legal literalism with compassion, then get out of our family."

HAHAH Yeap, I noticed him, too, but have no clue who he might be. After reading that letter, who would WANT to be on that committee with people of that frame of mind? I honestly can say that I don't agree with everything from either party... and I know a lot of Democrats who are against the women's rights issues, etc. But, Republicans like to tax folks like me a little too much. I wish someone would combine some ideas from each without all the dang extreme stuff and create an "Average Christian American" party.

That meeting was an embarassment to the local Democrats -- plain and simple. I was just waiting for Geraldo to show up in the story and get smashed in the nose by a chair again.
Of course, a couple of Dems today were asking me if I was ready to invite Maura McLaughlin into the Republican party. I shirked the question by reminding them that I'm in Lamar County, her residence is Forrest County.
I thought it was the same guy that was double talking in the council meeting too. He seemed to be quite happy with Hattiesburg and the mayor. He he! Bless his heart-some people just want to be in the media.

This fast-talking long-haired "carpetbagger" that everybody noticed in the Forrest County Democrat fight is indeed the same lyin liberal who preached his bull at the last Council meeting...But he didnt say nothin to Scott Farris directly. (He apparently had at least that much common sense.) Nobody seems to know his name--yet, or where he's really from, but he appears to be a typical yankee know-it-all...

I'm confused again, why would he have the need to say something to Scott Farris? Could someone please explain this. Thanks.
