hattiesburg is so small - whats there to do here

hey guys- visting hattiesburg for a month any recommendations on what to do here - its a very small town and doesn't look like like there's much to do here.

there are plenty of places to eat and shop. You can visit the Kamper Park zoo, Pep's Point water park, Paint ball, laser tag. Downtown area has art galleries, shops, and restaurants. Believe me, there is a lot to do here. We are known for being a small city with big city amenities(sp?).

No offense, but living in a town of 3500, I have to laugh. I'd love to have half of what Hattiesburg has to offer.

Folks with the city or with tourism boards are going to :smt070 me, but the coast... just down 49 about an hour or so... has great Vegas style casinos, shows, and lots of seafood.

We enjoy taking a saturday and going to the coast...it's just fun to be down there..


If you golf then there are some great places to go in Hattiesburg.
