As most of you know I have been trying to raise money for a while now to change my user name color to pink. Well as you can see I got black. When it asked me what color I put in hot pink because regular pink might be too light. I don't know what the deal is but hopefully Aaron will be able to fix it for me. I just wanted you all to know that I was not trying to copy Reality :) . Its also nice to be back. Funny how I missed all of you lol

Aaron, when you go to change your color, it takes you to a screen which asks you to type in the color you'd like. It doesn't give you anything to go by as far as the color choices, so you really don't know what you can or can't use. So in Kimberly's instance, she chose hot pink, and I am assuming since that wasn't an optional color -- even thought she didn't know it wasn't -- it defaulted to black. :smt102

Sure it did... it takes a few minutes to change your color though. You are red now. ;)

red? I picked dark blue. Then I came back and realized that everyone's name is dark blue. Anyway, I'm looking at all of this now and trying to figure out how it works. Maybe I can get Kimberly her hot pink soon.

ok, that's what it is. The browser you use only interprets a certain few colors in word form. On my screen, my name is in dark blue because Firefox knows this color. Internet Explorer obviously doesn't, and is giving everyone just a default color. So, if you want something besides basic colors, your going to have to use hex codes. A little more complicated, but it adds a whole bunch of selections. Hex codes can be found at the link below.

The code will look something like this: #66CD00
