I was just curious if anyone would like to share how they came up with their username?

I'll go first...

One of my nieces when she was around 4 decided she wanted to be called Lyla. so we would call her Lyla for a while which led to Lylabean (in the South you have to have either bean, bell or may added to your name...heh)

It makes for a good name when you have to register on websites because it's rarely taken :-D

Mine is from the lead character of Jimmy Buffett's latest novel, "A Salty Piece of Land".

Yea, I love his music but enjoy his books as well. He has put his writing talents to good use in a different medium.

mine wasn't very creative at all...I practice law in the hub city. I think I created this on the day of the Mayoral election or the day before it. In any event, the seriousness and the sense of impending doom in that race, took away my creative senses I'm afraid.

Altho I'm 48, sometimes young at heart and sometimes just feel like "Little Old Lady"...besides couldn't think of anything else at the time....

When I was in my late 20's I started going back to college. I don't care how old you're not, if you are older than say 24 and go back to college EVERYBODY ELSE is a baby. I felt SO flippin' old. (what a goofus I was). I started my first web email account at the time and previously I'd gone by the alias Jazz. Well lets say the first 438938379832 Jazz's on hotmail were taken so I wanted something new and somewhat original. I felt old and my name is Joe so geezerjoe sounded good. When it wasn't taken I've stuck with it.

More and more now though I'm using niassne, which is a word I made up by putting ass in nine which is rather descriptive of me now ... assinine. :D
