I wonder if Southern Miss will play Tulane Sunday? I guess it depends on if we still have a USM campus here... or Tulane has a campus... :smt102

I remember back... oh, several years ago :), when I was in high school, we played a football game in a hurricane. Actually, I suppose it wasn't right over us, but close enough that we were playing in a torrential downpour.

The one thing I remember about that game was that the water on the field was ankle deep, and it poured the whole game.

So I would say that, as long as they can find a field to play on, come hell or high water :lightning they'll play.

it's official....USM and Tulane are postponed...most likely until November, which considering that they are big rivals, makes sense anyway, this awful tragedy aside.

There's about 4 or 5 guys who live beside me who are USM football players and they told me Wed. that Tulane has cancelled their whole season.

I don't know if that's true, but that's what they said.

Just read in the C-L today that Tulane has moved the team to somewhere in TX (forgot where) and that they will try to play their season, just not sure where.
