The University of Southern Mississippi will resume classes in Hattiesburg on Sept. 12. Students can return to their residence halls Sept. 10.
Joe Paul, vice president of student affairs, said students will have a full fall semester. The cancellation of fall break and the addition of three days to the semester’s end on Dec. 19-21 will make up for the lost time during the hurricane. He said students who were in the process of late registration before can continue Sept. 12-16.
