actually I think the Panthers will win tomorrow night (not sure about versus the spread), as the game is at Carolina and the Panthers have played well since the opener against the Saints. What I do think will happen is that the Packers will pick up the first win against the Saints next Sunday at Lambeau.

It never fails...anytime the Saints under Haslett play a team that is winless or on a big losing streak, they will find a way to lose to that team. Last year, Emmitt Smith has his swan song game against the Saints, as the Cardinals won their first game last year, and last week the Vikings made the Saints look terrible to win their first game (the Falcons, without Michael Vick most of the way, clobbered them today). I may bet my whole bank against the Saints next week... this outcome is so predictable for them, especially after their win today.

Lyla, you have those who bet Tennessee as covering the -21 spread as winning. The final score was Tennessee winning by a score of 27-10, which means Ole Miss covered. Can you double-check this?

I don't think I can change it. Once done, it's done.

Not looking good for the Packers at half...the Panthers lead 23-7.

Instead of Tim McGraw, perhaps Hank, Jr. should get back on and do a reprise of his "All My Rowdy Friends" as follows:

"The Packers really stink
and the Panthers have the might..
so let's go get drunk and forget Monday Night-uh!"

Aaron, I'm glad you edited that post...I've got the tv on the game but quit listening a while ago. Last time I checked the score was something like 7-26. At least they're covering now.

yep, after my Hank, Jr. spoof comment at half-time, the Pack got it together and made a game of it. I trust Brett Farve doesn't read this site...lol

Sunday, the Packers are favored by three against the Saints, according to today's HA Sports section. Bet the house on the Pack...anytime the Saints play a winless team...they find a way to lose, and usually big. The Pack will probably look like Super Bowl contenders Sunday.

i agree hub, saints will probably make #4 look like the hall of famer he is! and Brooks will come back to reality with 2 picks and 2 fumbles.
