I've seen a few signs around campus that say "Trolly Stop." What are those for? Is there some kind of shuttle that goes around campus that I've just never seen before?

I know there is one that use to go from campus to Hillcrest dorm, not sure if that's the same one. It could be for the city trolley's or buses as well.

As those signs are the same types that designate parking zones for football games, I'd say that it relates to the football games?

yeah, they were really active last game. I ended up not taking it, because after all the stops that it has to make and waiting on pedestrian traffic, I beat it to the stadium.

This doesn't run anymore. They quit this a long time ago. People in Hillcrest have to walk to campus for everything, or drive and fight for a parking space.

ah, I didn't realize that. At least they have a somewhat crosswalk there that people might stop at, I remember crossing over 4th there everytime I went to class or going to visit my wife in her dorm, it was very very scary. I thought I heard that Southern a bought a newer shuttle for transporting students around campus, maybe that was just a dream.

i so wish they would. you put your life in danger crossing 4th street in the middle of the day! those people are reckless and sometimes choose not to stop. however, students who live there do get a lot of exercise. :p
